new rotary fan from France
 

Hello Everyone !

I'm not really a "new rotary fan" as i own my RX8 for 2 years now and loved rotary engines since the first time i saw one !
But it's my first time posting here!

For the short story, i bought my RX8 2 years ago and after 1 year of loyal service, my engine died (rotor bearing issue).
Not a problem, i already wanted to rebuild some engine, so let's do it.

The rebuild don't give me any trouble, but the re-installation and re-connecting everything in the engine bay, it's another thing!

I had some issues (espacially with the fuel injectors wiring) but once it seemed to be all fixed, the car still stall at idle, act strange when i press the gas pedal, so those past month i was just hitting my head on the wall to find a sollution, or the cause of the problem.
I did a compression test and it appear that compression are good, but not so good (101-102PSI through all the faces).

And then i was thinking, can i inverted the APV valves ? with all the "little" mistake i made, it can be just that, and will explain all my symptoms if the engine is getting too much air. (when i press gas pedal the AFR jumps to 20, and the egine struggle, but few seconds later it will rev up like a charm)

So my question is: is it really possible to invert APV valves? Or invert something in the little motor gearing?
I don't have access to the place where i did my rebuild so right now i struggle to find another spot to get the engine out and remove the UIM, but before doing all this i really want to have the feedback of the community about my problem.
