new member cannot post why?

so im having trouble with my s1 auto tranny no reverse when cold. im trying to post in s1 trouble shooting but cannot, why?

Read the stickies at the top of the newbie section.

TL:DR
New members can not make post outside of the new member section for 10 posts and 30-days.

New members can only start threads in the new members section (like you just did) for 30 days and until the have 10 posts. Pretty sure this is mentioned when you sign up.
