Well this was short-lived. The check engine light turned back on today. Was just driving on the freeway and I gunned it, light flashes for 10-15 seconds and turns solid. Cycled the car, still solid.

Ugh.

Don't get too upset yet, I've had flashing CEL that went away after gunning it, yours staying on may be unrelated to your previous problem.
Just go get it read from AutoZone or some other place and see what it is.
