Mazda rx-8 2005

Purchased a Mazda rx-8 for my 16 year old son and had no idea what I was getting into. Car still starts and run but have been noticing that white smoke. It was test and number 2 has low compression. Willing to let go for 1500 obo. Fell free to reach out if interested. North of Denver. Sound like engine would need to be rebuilt.

Rear rotors tend to go first in my experience. These are good cars if you get them compression tested before you buy. White smoke that won’t go away indicates a coolant leak in the engine. Sorry for your loss. Out of curiosity, what were the numbers?

It is defiantly a coolant leak in the engine. Number 2 was at 2.4. The rest were around 10 on the compression test.

If that's the diagnosis its definitely only solved by a rebuild. RIP.
