Looking to own a Series 1 Rx8 in the spring. I always like to join the forum for the car I am looking to purchase before I get it, enabling me to learn as much as possible.

I have owned an FC and getting excited to be back behind the wheel of another Rotary. And thank you for welcoming me to the forum!

The most important thing is for you to do a compression test before you actually buy the car, even if they claim they just put a new engine in. Make sure this is done with a proper rotary tester (might wanna do some research on this).

This important point is covered in the new owners thread. Yes a rotary-specific compression test BEFORE purchase is a must !. Otherwise you could be paying thousands to replace a failing engine. Happens too often to new buyers caught up in the thrill of the new purchase.
