Headlight asssembly installation feasibility
 

I was wondering if anyone knew if replacement headlight assemblies for the RX8 that are sold on various sights are compatible with all year of models. For more context, I've seen some headlight assemblies being sold that say they're compatible with all RX8 models for years 2004 through 2008 but the 2011 headlight assemblies are listed as a separate entity. I'm looking to buy both a left and right headlight replacement assembly and am basically asking if the older year assemblies would be able to be installed on a 2011 year rx8.

Series 1 and Series 2 headlights are different.... so you need Series 2 headlights

When I'm looking for parts, how do I identify if the part fits my series? For example, if I find something that's labeled: RX-8 se3p... What series model does that refer to?

Se3p is just a chassis code for the rx8, it doesn’t change with series. Just find ones that are for 2009-2011
