First Rotary Rebuild (4 port vs 6 port internal questions)

I've been a long time user of this forum but have not had an account until now.
Little history about myself... I've worked on cars for a while and have rebuilt plenty of engines with no issues no having purchased my 4th or 5th rx8 ive decided I want to tackle the rotary engine rebuild

I bought this car knowing the engine was toast with zero compression at the rear rotor and upon opening the engine I can see where seals came loose and scored the housing, rotor, and irons (middle and rear) after having researched quite a bit I learned that the 6 port (mine) and the 4 port engines share housings, rotors, and center irons so when I saw a low compression 4 port on craigslist for 250 dollars I bought it

the 4 port is in excellent condition apart from what I assume to be excessive carbon buildup

as for my questions:
Ive learned that the stationary gears from the 4 port are not heat treated but are the rotor gears from the 4 port heat treated (do i need to swap rotor gears from the 6 port to the 4 port rotor I plan to use in my rebuilt 6 port)

and I plan to use the eccentric shaft from the 6 port I am rebuilding but I was curious if there is a difference in eccentric shaft between the 4 port and 6 port

I've gone through many low output vs high output renesis comparisons on this forum but cannot seem to find the answer to these questions

I apologize for the excessive amount of "4 port" and "6 port"s (im just trying to make my thought process clear)

any help/shed light is extremely appreciated! THanks!

IIRC, the 4 port electronics and 6 port electronics are NOT interchangeable. You might want to look that up.

yes that is correct (I am using a rotor housing, middle iron, and rotor from a 4 port to rebuilding my 6 port) no conversions here I'm just curious about eccentric shaft differences as well as rotor gears

Thanks

I'm not an engine builder but I'm pretty sure you wont have any issues doing what you propose to do . The 4 port centre iron has slightly bigger primary ports than the 6 port but I know people that have fitted them without issue.

Any idea whether or not the 4 port rotor gears are safe to use in the 6 port though?
Im ordering rebuild parts through atkins and possibly some stuff through racing beat
Ill see if anyone there knows

Logic tells me they are exactly the same parts ...........................

Spoke to Atkins about my apparent lack of "logic" and all rx8 rotor gears are heat treated... rotors are the same across 4 port and 6 port
case closed...
sorry for my ignorance .............................
