Cold Start.. is this normal? Or sign of low compression?

New to RX8 this is a 2010 RX8. It’s rare so I hopped on it. I’ve worked on FC’s before and I did my research on the RX8 extensively, but I read on the forum from some other members that this was normal for cold start then I also read that this is a sign of low compression.

94k miles. Smooth idle. No check engine light.
If you guys need any other info let me know.

Low compression manifests as poor hot starts before poor cold starts. Poor cold starts have a number of possible causes from vacuum leaks to blown water seals. You may want to get compression tested regardless so you know what you're working with. Especially since you're running out of engine warranty in miles and in time.

Have you had your battery tested? Also, check your coils and plugs.

Thanks Loki. I’m going to get the compression test done soon. Work has been busy for me so the next best thing was ask the forum.
