cat delete

I just deleted my catalytic converter a couple nights ago. I installed the non-resonating RB midpipe. Over all it wasn't any serious problems, took about 4 hours total. Only issue i had was that you are supposed to use existing nuts on the front with supplied bolts, mine were rusted so bad i had to use a random set of nuts and bolts i had laying around the garage. It took about an hour or so to break a one of them loose. Install though was a piece of cake, took 15 minutes max. HOW DOES IT SOUND??? while the engines cold it sounds a little harsh, but when it warms up it sounds amazing, and I'm on stock catback for now.

DISCLAIMER: I live in Alabama so we don't have any emissions control. I used a set of spark plug nonfoulers to help keep the cel off, it worked so far, i cleared it the first day and it hasn't been on again.

DELETING YOUR CAT IS A FEDERAL OFFENSE: DELETE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!

But does it sound "rightious" or "righteous?" I have heard a few non-resonated midpipes, and "amazing" is not a word I would use to describe the sound.

The CEL may come back even with the nonfouler. My S2 ECU seems to check for it and helpfully alert me to the problem about every 150 miles. Or it may not. Some people get lucky.

Enjoy?

UPDATE: I was getting an exhaust flow too lean code off and on the past couple of days so I cleared the code and took the nonfouler off of my o2 sensor. So far so good.
