Cannot bleed master and slave cylinder "still"
 

Had bad slave cylinder so fixed that also got brand new master cylinder and ss clutch line. Install all new parts the was going to bleed it obviously. Realizing how much of a PITA it was going to be got a speed bleeder and pumped away last night. Absolutely nothing got bled form the line. Any tip on how to get the line bleed does the car need to be running did I miss a step. Read other posts and seamed pretty straight forward but and I missing something here. Thanks guys.

Tried the mighty vac. Went okay minor complications haha still doesn't work. when the air bubbles stopped after letting it sit for a few minutes closed off the bleeder valve. Pressed down the clutch pedal and still stuck to the floor. I have no idea what or where to start at this point so any help would be great feeling quite frustrated with this car :wallbash:

Try cracking the bleeder screw open just a tiny bit more.

Okay will try that had it open a few turns to start the reclosed it and now it only 1/4-1/2 turn open.

I had this same problem recently. I tried a speed bleeder too but the threads on the slave aren't so great. After pumping it a ton on multiple occasions, going back and forth between bleeders, and trying the old fashioned method, I gave up. Then I got a mityvac and put it on the bleeder and pulled all the air out in seconds. I really recommend it. The clutch should be simple to bleed but I hear you. Try this method out if you can.

Okay Thanks. looked online pretty cheap for a mityvac so got one of those to save myself the time an effort. Hopefully that works

Pressure bleeders work..... 🙂

you need to bench bleed the master before installing. google it.

I didn't have to bench bleed my clutch master cylinder when I replaced my master and slave.

What he needs to do is start from square one and check everything.

Hydraulic systems are pretty simple... they need to be full of fluid and have no leaks.

If there is something leaking air in or fluid out they dont work

If you dont get all the air out ..... they dont work

If you let air in from the reservoir getting too low when bleeding.... they dont work.

You also need the mechanical actuators on both ends working so when you push on the clutch pedal the fluid pushes on the slave rod that pushes on the fork that pushes on the pressure plate

If these dont all work... the clutch won't work

It is common for people to let air in on a low reservoir.

Do you have fluid leaks?

Do you have the clutch pedal hooked up to the master correctly.... adjusted properly?
Do you have the slave rod in the fork properly?
After that you could have a defective master or slave that allows the fluid to bypass
