2nd series RX8: Cosmo Sport vs R3
 

Good day everyone.
Like I said elsewhere, I'm looking at a few RX8s, here in Europe, where LHD RX-8s R3 are rather rare (and expensive).
I'm currently eyeing two cars, one year 2010, one year 2011. They are both advertised as 'Cosmo Sport RX-8' - one is actually listed as 'Cosmo Sport R3'.
I've looked online, in the forums, on Wikipedia, but I can find no mention of 'Cosmo Sport' RX-8.
Is a 'Cosmo Sport' trim another name for a R3?

Never heard of a Cosmo Sport edition. Maybe very country specific?

Do theybhave R3 parts?

and both cars come with red stitched seats - which seems specific to R3.
They both come also w/ 18" rims, no sunroof and keyless entry.
I guess that if I decide to go ahead, I will ask the VIN, but they seems R3s so far.

Not sure about Europe, but here in the states an R3 would come with 19 inch wheels.

Are the seats Recaros? If not then it's not quite an R3.
Other things to check is yellow Bilstein dampers.

Why not ask them and then post what they say here?
