2004 Rx8 stereo firmware compatibility
 

So I recently bought my 2004 Gt 6mt 8 n am loving it except that I can’t play my music and that’s kinda annoying. I see a lot of people using the Yatour digital music Cd changer Bluetooth aux mod. It’s says only firmware 9.55 n up but I’ve read it working with people that have 9.54,9.53 and that has me hoping that I’m in luck. I checked my stereo and I have firmware 9.50 so is there anyone with that firmware that has tried it and can confirm that it actually works? thx

You would need to buy a new radio that has that firmware and install it for YaTour to work unfortunately.

Well that sucks so there’s no way to update the radio that’s already in the car.
