20 brake stomps and now car won’t start
 

My car has been shutting off when I brake at a red light, codes are saying maf sensor and cylinder misfire, I cleaned the maf sensor and it looks brand new. We thought it was the fuel pump cause it’s had an idling issue for a while, but we took the pump out and then put it back in. We did the 20 brake stomp to clear it out and it sounds like the fuse box keeps clicking and the car won’t start at all.

okay the car came back on, but does anyone know why it still dies when you brake while you’re driving down the road?

Well I would address the misfire issue and then go from there. It could be many things.

The click you were hearing was insufficient current from the battery to turn the starter. You may want to have the battery checked.

If it dies the moment you press on the brake, I would also look at the battery and its terminals. Pushing the brake makes the brake lights come on, which could be pushing to draw more current than is available. Especially if you have a short somewhere in the brake light wiring. Obviously this is not normal, so start by cleaning those battery terminals and testing thr battery.

If you mean to say it dies coming to a stop, you need to get some data on what's happening. You need to see what the short term and long term fuel trims are, OBD will show those parameters. If you're not sure what those are, google. It's possible you have a simple vacuum leak. In fact, look for obvious gaps, holes or loose hoses all along the intake tract.

If your ignition coils and spark plugs haven't been changed in the last 30k miles, you're behind on maintenance ;)
