Looking to buy used RX8
 

Hi everyone, my first post here. I've recently started looking at buying an 8 and figured a post here might help : ) I'm in the market for any year, preferably black and mostly stock (trying to keep the price down, but don't mind if it has mods). Manual is a must... all I seem to keep finding are ATs! I'd like to see below 50k miles. Looking for GT trim level (navigation is a bonus for my poor sense of direction). From what I've been seeing on Craigslist it looks like somewhere between 11k to 15k should get what I'm looking for. Willing to travel up to 200-300 miles if needed for the car I want : )

Man all I can say is what a car! Unfortunately I didn't take it past 6k RPMs or much over 45 mph.... dealer chose a kinda crappy road haha. It handled every bit as well as I had hoped and sounded great.

This is the car (way overpriced!) here. Mileage was great at 31k but it has quite a few dings, scratches, and a spider web in the taillight! Seller didn't say but the owner is a smoker (lots of ash on the lighter) and it's a sport package while I'm looking for a GT. Any way I'm still searching!

I cannot seem to find a BB GT model anywhere close so it looks like I'll be looking for a while. If I manage to find a decent deal on a GT package I might even consider a paint job to get what I'm looking for. Has anyone in the area had a good experience with anyplace as far as getting their car painted?
