most common mods on a na 8 are the cai (aem,ms), catback exhaust, and a gutted cat or test pipe. If someone has those mods it would be a steel for them besides the ability to scan codes and other features. basically a cobb unit and a free mm tune with it

An unmarried AP is not usable for any other cars. The purchaser will have to send the AP to Cobb, I believe they charge 100 bucks to un-marry it for you.

Also a custom MM tune regardless of same mods is not generic, and will realistically run like crap.

Keep in mind once you sell this, if you have problems down the road your ECU is locked and you have no way of doing anything except spending a couple hundred to a thousand bucks on a new ECU.

Yep, it's $300.00 and that was the price for taking it to them in Austin. If you send it I think it's $350.00 shipped back to you IIRC. It's worth even less if it is not the latest version (pin connector on bottom instead of two USB connectors and it has more memory and it is faster).
