Yes it throws a CEL. And yes it makes a noise difference... Depends on your exhaust as well... I bought the whole system but Decided to go with a high flow Cat...

Did you get my reply to your PM? I got stuck with the snow and christmas so I wasnt able to meet up with you this past week.

I had some basic questions about the mid pipe as well: anything extra w/ the pipe (gaskets, etc) and why are you getting rid of it with only 150 miles on it? Just curious... I'm off all this week, so I'll see if we cant meet up...
