Custom turbo set up.
5 Attachment(s)
i have a 2004 rx8 with a full custom turbo set up. the car just needs to be tune which would involve me getting a Cobb AP or some computer for the car. i dont feel like dealing with finding the AP anywhere or spending anymore money getting the computer to tune it. (the excitement went off i guess) so i have for sale and trade my whole set up for 3500, includes the 3 inch straight pipe exhaust. plus whatever stock parts i need to put this car back to stock so i can trade it in. Or other option would be selling the car for 14.500 OBO which i kinda dont want to do that cause like i say before the car needs the tuning and its only boosting 3 pounds. would want to do this local as it would make everything easier. Im in the Bronx.

You're a Doush for selling the turbo Allinson, you should just buy the AP and tune it and call it a wrap. I mean you just got the car last year, and now you wanna sell it.

i dunno exactly what type of turbo it is. i put a cover on it to keep the heat away from the hood and i would have to take it apart to look at it, its a T40 but dunno what brand.
|
only issue i see is no coolant lines running to the waterjacket. From what i told this could be very bad for a buyer.

dude ... just get an AP from MM for .... I don't understand your difficulty in finding one ... it is right on cobb's website http://cobbtuning.com/info/?id=5538
MM's: http://www.mazdamaniac.com/cobb/accessport.htm Also a warning to whoever seriously considering this, I am not too sure of the placement of the MAF sensor. It looks like it is on a bend that will subject the air to a lot of turbulence under any real boost if it is not doing so already. Turbulence = inaccurate readings = VERY difficult or nearly impossible to tune if you are going the MAF based route. I would have to see how the idle and part throttle response of this car is before considering the kit. Neway, best of luck with the sale, looks like a solid kit otherwise! |
do you still have the kit? how much if you do
