2004 RX8 Touring -- No Engine/No Transmission
 

I am selling my 2004 RX8. I purchased the car last year with intentions to build into a track car, but only got so far due to time. Was originally a 6spd car, the engine lost compression but was out of warranty. I no longer have the engine or transmission.

Car has been partially stripped, but I have all of the original parts inventoried and stored safely. These parts will go with the car. The engine bay has been stripped completely, the interior wiring has been removed along with the carpet and other small pieces. Again, I have everything that came out of the car (wiring is labeled).

Body is in fair condition, the previous owner hit a guard rail which dented the passenger side front door and rear 1/4 panel area. The passenger rear 1/4 panel (wheel arch) has a few rust spots because these areas were never treated after the accident. Other than this the car is solid, straight (no major accidents), and is rust/rot free.

Great platform for a track car, or could easily be a daily driver with a new engine and transmission. Everything in/on the car is OEM and in working condition.

Selling because I am moving and do not want to deal with transporting. Any other questions, please ask. I am not willing to part anything off the car.

Price is OBO, willing to take offers. Worst I can say is no.

Fyi:All rx8 got a 100k mile extended warranty from the factory.
If I wasn't building my FD . I'd pick this up to be my daily.

Yeah I am pretty sure we could've gotten a new engine for that after I got my new one this year.... Was the tranny bad or what?
