Hey all ive created a page on facebook for all us in virginia or surrounding areas to connect through. itll only take a few seconds to go to the page and like it and be a part of it. Im hoping to have a bunch of people like it so we can communicate easier and make things simple if we wanted to set up a meet or talk about our cars or other virginia related things or car things. Bumped, I joind a lil bit ago. Good thought on trying to get a community going for the VA guys. Would be nice to meet with actual car enthusiasts Kinda of tired of every Civic with a pepboys wing and coffee can muffler trying to "race".

Come out to Dulles Chick-fila on Friday nights. Always a few sevens that come out. I bring either one depending on which one I want to drive that day.

Which chick fil a in dulles?? and i can try sometimes i usually work on fridays but ill definately try!

Yeah, I heard about that meet-up. It's by the lowes and across the street from Best Buy right? Does it go down every friday?

Yep that would be the one. Dulles town center. Old muscle cars show up early say fourish. While high school morons come later, around eight or so.

Whats the turn out for 8's? or is it primarily ricers and the muscles

I will be there tonight.
Not alot of 8s but some very nice 3rd gens.

Usually its just me with my eight, if I don't drive the seven. So far no eights have come out to any of the local things we do.

Anybody in the Richmond area or close by?

Some of you may have already found the other Facebook page, Central Virginia Mazda Club. Not specifically for RX-8's, but that's the majority of us. And there are two events coming up, one in Tidewater and one at Virginia International Raceway.

And what local event are you referring to?

MSCW.com events like the DIY last week at Rosenthal Mazda?

after i get my door fixed i will be in VA for a week then after summer i will be there for good!! and if there is a big turn out on 8's i might see a couple of you guys at chick fil-a since i will be in the mclean area which isnt too far from dulles.

I'm 15 mins south of richmond.

Dulles Town Center is a good hike from McLean, because it's up north near Route 7 (omg stoplights) instead of down by I-66. Just an FYI.

Intriguing. I'll have to swing by sometime. I haven't done any work on my 8 like I did on my Passat, but it might be interesting to meet the 5 other 8'ers I drive past on the roads around here.

Also, a chance to ogle some 7s is always worth some effort.

Where and when does this happen? I drive into Great Falls at least once a week and have yet to see an 8.

Also one in Virginia Beach. First Saturday of every month.

Depends on when people get off work normally after five or six. But since it DC traffic more like seven.

I was there at 7:00 am Saturday morning.
It is all about timing.
