I did, I just curious if anyone meets anytime other than the first Monday of every month, you know to just socialize, hang out, cruise, share new info, etc.......

Several informal gatherings pop up from time to time and have been posted in this forum. Just like the one last Sunday and the Skyline Drive drive last November. MSCW also has a scenic drive once a month, usually the first weekend after the Wednesday night meeting. For example, the next one is this Saturday, March 6th. And there are other organized events like the MSCW tech session at Gaithersburg Mazda next Wednesday night. For $5 you can eat pizza and watch other people work on their cars.;) (Membership is required to use a lift to do your own minor maintenance due to insurance and liability rules, but you can join at the tech session.)

Glad to see the trip across the country was succesful.

Yeah, successful but not much fun. We had snow/ice mix about 12-18 hours behind us the whole way across until the eastern portion of Texas. That being the case (plus additional snow in the northern portion of New Mexico and Arizona), we didn't get to stop at too many sights (read: none) as we came across. We ended up stopping in Pensacola to see our families for about a week before braving the roads heading north. We got to Charlotte and had to stay an extra day due to snow on the highways north of there (plus sleet in Charlotte that night). It was an experience to say the least. We're just glad to have dodged the snow bullet for the season. Evidently they're talking chance of flurries early next week, but that's nothing in comparison to a month ago. :)
