Saw a Red 8 driving on 76E towards philly

I saw a red rx-8 driving towards philly on route 76 E around 2:30 PM on April 12th. It was a beautiful car and it had an rx8.com sticker in the rear passenger window. I was behind him for a while until I got off at the conshahocken exit in my black mx-6. I know I don't own an rx-8 (yet) but I was just recognizing a member in my area. Thumbs up to an awesome car!

Red face

Hi ChefspOt,
If the sticker was red and the rear tires looked kinda wide, that may have been my car.
Hope I wasnt blocking your path - - I always try to look out for my fellow Mazda drivers!
I had a LOT farther to travel >>> to 95 and then NJ.......
Thanks a lot for the kind words - guess it pays to have it all washed once in a while!

the rear tires looked pretty darn wide and the sticker was red. Nice car! I can't wait to get mine. Hopefully by the end of the summer. Any advice on buying an rx-8 used?

I just got a used 04 with low miles from Brandywine Mazda in West Chester and they have 4-5 more on the lot. I dealt with a salesman named Tom who was easy to deal with. They are no haggle, but they do drop prices from time to time on their own you just have to watch their website.

Good luck finding a used 8.

Thank you for your help Trumant. Actually I bought my mx-6 from brandywine 3 years ago so i am eager to add another to the list. I am on a semi-limited budget of 20 thousand but I know my 8 is out there waiting for me and when I see her she'll be mine.

U might want to go to Faulkner Mazda's site occasionally - think the internet price is lower:

Not much more advice for getting a used one cause I bought mine new at Pacifico way back in Nov. '03...... but hope you find a GR8 8 soon!

Actually I will most likely keep the mx-6 because it has 160k miles on it and has been good to me. It has minor mods done to it, springs/struts, intake, exhaust, brakes, and possibly headers soon because i have a big old exhaust leak from my factory exhaust manifold. And I would rather not drive to philly every day with the 8 if I can help it. Thanks for all the attention everyone, I have to say that this site is much more friendly than the mx6 forum I also belong to. It's sad to say that there are mazda family members who treat each other badly.
