Rx8 mechanic shops beside Mazda
 

does anyone know of any local mechanics (besides Mazda) that have extensive knowledge on our rx-8 cars in the lower westchester or nyc area?

Possible motor mounts change? Check my catalytic converter to see if I need a new one. Stuff like that

i know of 4 places.
1) tnr racing meric blvd and liberty 7187251183.
pros: tony (owner) have been in the business for many years and knows his shit.
cons: but in an efforts to make more money he is using kids who don't know anything to work on ur car. kerry is a good tuner but for everything but rx8s. over priced for body work.
2) tri state also across the street from TnR. 718-291-3717
the owner Romeo was partners with Tony hence TnR but split.
pros: his # 1 mechanic is Al and he knows his shit , he can tune, also rebuild turbos, and find a costume replacement for those with greddy kits.
cons: will take his time, depending on his mood he will over charge u.
3) 148-08 94 ave berry. he is an acquaintance of Al and supposedly is a good mechanic.
4) enzo tuning 516-503-1661 never used him but i hear good things
