RX-8s in Warren County and Surrounding...
 

CALLING ALL RX-8s in Upstate New York!!!!

I'm relatively new to this site and I'm definitely a new rotary owner. But I've seen quite a few around in the few months that I've had my 8 and I was wondering if anyone who lives in the upstate (north of Albany, NY) area is on here.

Furthermore, I regularly attend car shows and the weekend meets (all types of cars) in Albany/Schenectady, NY. I also do "Shop Days" (with a few of my local car friends) at my families tire store on Lake George Rd (rt 9) in Queensbury (we get together and work on our cars or help each other out with installs, repairs or whatever).

So...anyone in the area that wants to start a meet (weekly/monthly) or a group or just needs help or wants to come up to my store on "Shop Days"...post a reply...lets get something going!

If nothing else there's a pretty big Meet & Greet and Cruise-In coming up on Sunday, May 6th in memory of Tommy Stark and hosted by Lethal Image (all cars welcome).

I think I have seen your car parked at the Q-bury Tire store/shop a few times. I work in Glens Falls and my wife has a house on Glen Lake so I go by all the time. I'm either driving my blue 07 RX-8 or my red 94 Rx-7 (sunny summer days only). One of these days when I see your car I'll stop in and introduce myself.

I'm glad u get in the forums at all... I was beginning to think none of the 8 owners around town use the forum.

Feel free to stop by anytime u see my Ti-grey s1; I can't wait to meet another local rotary owner.

Just as a follow up...I've seen quite a few 8s in the last couple days (grey/silver with a body kit, black s1, red s1, etc). If you see my car parked at Queensbury Tire on a Sunday (or after 5p weekdays and after 3p on Saturday) stop in, introduce yourself...there aren't many rotaries in the area and it's a shame that there isn't more commradery among the enthusiasts.

I don't often drive my 8 down to the Saratoga area (400+ miles isn't cheap on gas) but it's nice to know there are rotary enthusiasts there. I do see more 8s than I would expect, and I'd love to join a meet the next time I'm down.

Well, I'm currently in Saratoga Springs right now for a few more days. If there are any meets or anything like that, I'd definitely come out and check things out.
