NYCGPS Compression test for you !

Ok Guys/Gals. I will be running a compression test event @ either the May 26-27 Weekend, or June 2-3 Weekend, depends on Weather and my work schedule (so if it rains on May26, the event will be push to the next weekend, if it rains again ... another weekend)

What is this for?

I will be doing a few compression test for people using Mazda's compression Tester tool. There will be a charge/fee and trust me it will be MUCH lower than what Mazda charges. and for another few bucks, I can swap all spark plugs for you, great for those people who has no tools at home to do it himself/herself. If you don't have the Spark plugs, I have a load of them here and I just gonna charge you what I paid for them, which is roughly about 85 for 4 (we all loves NYC tax ...)

I'm starting it here first to see how many people are interested in this, I need at least 10 people to start this "event"

Mod, I'm not sure if I need to do a "group buy" thing cuz honestly I'm not "selling" anything ... I start this thread to see how many people are interested in doing this first, if there are enough people, then I will see

Almost forgot, I also have the Mazda's Vacuum Testing tool, most people have no idea what this is, but a vacuum test will also tell you how healthy your engine is. I can do it for another small charge. Final fee TBA, it will be less than 1/2 of what Mazda typically wants to charge you for

Oh by the way, This works for ALL Rotary Engine!(except the Vacuum test, which I think only works on Rx-8), so if you have a FD/FC/FB/SA22C/REPU/COSMO/Your plane(not recommended)/etc, just come !

First come first serve basis, if you register (and pay) first, you get the first spot, and so and so and so.

I expect each test to take around 15/mintues to 1/2 hour.

Location : I'm thinking of going to our regular local meet area, there is a big parking lot there, busy on weekends tho ... if anybody has a good place/big parking lot then let me know !

Yep, maybe something in the middle just for the test, then add another couple bux will remove/replace the other 2 Spark, and another couple of bux will do the Vacuum test.

Will do it only if there is about 10 people or more, and you guys will HAVE to send me the payment before hand, with your name, I will then print the list out and I will have to check your ID for verification purposes. (unless I know you already of course)

Come on People, don't you guys wanna know the health of ur engine?

Bump
Come on people this is a great deal!

@nycgps
We had a Spring meet and I volunteered to do compression tests for those that wanted it.
I would have died if I did have two other members helping me.

One person was organizing and such, getting water, beer, making sure people had there wheel locks!

The other guy was Prepping the cars, and or doing compression tests as well.

I also made each person take off/on their own wheels, as there was no way I wanted to scratch some of those really expensive spokes out there.

WOW..I can't believe the lack of responses...

Jackson's Compression Tester IS Mazda's GENUINE latest and greatest Tester for ALL Rotary Engines.

This is not a toy but the READ DEAL!.....

Even IF your RX-8 is just about to run out of warranty, what a great way of showing your Mazda Dealer that you need a new engine or are close to needing one....
you know you need this information for future reference.

Unless their wheels have really weird offset, I should have no problem keeping it and do the test. I keep my wheels on while replacing spark plugs

Meh. I mean I am not trying to make a few bux here (ok, maybe just a little) but hey, people would rather go dealership and pay 100s of dollars to do the test ? and sometimes they even do their test wrong. mmmm. I don't know man. Time is running out. if there is not enough respond by next friday then ... Sorry Motomouse!
