NYC Residents - Where do you buy your transmission fluids?

I searched two Autozones and one Strauss and haven't found what I needed. I did find Royal Purple but I am not going to use RP.

I would like to buy Amsoil Severe Gear 75W-90 or Redline Syn 75W-90.

I checked all the places you mentioned, plus Fizz and Claws in Queens as well as other auto wholesale parts places and couldn't find it anywhere. I finally gave up (spent too much time and gas money) and ordered my stuff on-line.

Car culture in New York is so weak I guess stores can't even make a few bucks selling Redline stuff...

None of them (Autozone, Strauss, Pepboys) sell GL4 only gear oil

Trust me on that one.

You guys can buy Redline MT-90 at Speedworld on Queens Blvd, but they're selling them @ 14.99 a quart + Tax. so its better off for you guys to get it online

Car culture is weak because ... for obvious reasons, Bloomberg the ******* is giving out tickets like mad, look at how many NYPD traffic he hired over the last 2 years, its a cash cow for the city. and when they're not meeting "quota", guess what? Those asswipes just "force" a ticket on your *** and there is nothing you can do about it. Hah ! ask me how I know ! Plus news said that ALL of them are "so" willing to take overtime cuz As long as you reach "the quota for overtime", you can overtime as much as you want

I know who to vote @ next election

I agree with you 100%. My parents Infiniti that I take to work has its window bashed out while I was at work. Had to get things repair and a little concerned with money at the moment (being a college student with a part time job at Lowes). The cheaper the better.
