Are you guys taking off the OEM wheels/tires and putting on a new set of wheels/tires for the winter? If so, what? I know last winter's weather was out of the ordinary, but I also don't want to risk slipping and sliding all over the place and banging up my new ride.....

I voted yes, but I'm actually just changing tires to Dunlop Winter Sport M3's. I couldn't afford to do the whole wheel/tire thing.

Can you even get winter tires in 18" low profile sizes? I'm surprised if you can!
I'm just going to leave my 8 in the garage when it snows! Our driveway (as well as the streets out of our neighborhood) is very steep, and even if I safely made it out of the driveway I'd never get it off our street. Or even if I got the car out of our neighborhood I'd have a very hard time getting home that evening. |
