MD, NJ, PA, NY, VA, DE Snowboarding Meet

Alright ya'll, we keep talking about doing it, so lets do it!!!! Lets figure out a time, place, needed gear, etc.... so we can have a snowboarding meet. Of course, we are not expected to bring our 8's. This meet is all about hanging with good friends and busting our a$$es, I mean taring up some hills!!!

(If I missed your state in the title, sorry. I wasn't trying to leave you out, I just posted the states where people were displaying the most interest. And of course, you are more than welcome to come boarding with us )

I really don't know a whole lot about places to go and all so if you can help plan a location that would be great!

I guess that is something we need to discuss. Whether we rather stay local or go someplace like VT

Why would hotels be needed???? We could tent it. As long as there is a shower somewhere. And if not, meh, shat happens.

Well Catskill region will have anything bigger than what you'll find south of the State, at least starting around 1600 vertical feet.

That could be a doable trip for some of you, and has Hunter, Windham and Bellyaere mountain.

Upstate NY has the best though in regards to size wise namely Gore and Whiteface (aka Iceface).

Best snow in NY falls around the CNY section though near Syracuse from additional lake effects or north east more at Snowridge, but they're under 1k for vertical drop.
