Rolex Grand Am - LRP
Anyone going to Lime Rock next weekend for the race? For those who are, will you be taking part in the Mazda corral?
Looks like I'll be going saturday and likely parking in the corral. Would like to do the parade lap, but not sure I will get there early enough.

Ill be there. I got corral tickets too.
Im about an hour and a half from the track. I'm not going Friday but am Saturday. If you'd like, you're welcome to crash at my place for the night and head up with us in the morning.

godess, which route will you be taking to get there? I'll be taking 7 North out of New Milford.....it is a killer drive.
What time would you guys recommend getting there?

From New Haven we take 34 most of the way up. Thats a fun drive, From there not really sure. In the past I've just put the address in the gps and follow the route suggested.

The qualifying starts at 9:30. I want to be there by then, hopefully. Corral parade laps are at 10. Defiantly want to be there for that.
I just mapped it...You can meet up with us in Litchfield if you wanna roll in together. Its mostly on the way for both of us. That would cancel out 7 though. its up to you.
I'm thinking of headed up through North Guilford into Durham then to Meriden. In stead of 34. Thats a more fun drive. Then 691 to Route 8. from there its pretty easy to hit Litchfield.

I go to New Haven all the time. If you took 34, it would take you to 84. You would hop on at exit 11, head west and get off at exit 7, that is the exit for Rt. 7. From there it's 7 North the entire way to Lime Rock. It is a really choice drive for the RX8. Lots of curves, lots of passing zones. Runs along the Housatonic River.....very scenic.
**I just Google mapped New Haven to Lakeville and your way does seem more direct for you.
