ive gotten PMs from people about slots opening or dropping. If you drop your spot it is your responsibility to take payment from the other party whom will be taking your spot.
I have been on vacation since 7/30 and will be back in the us on the 16th...so i havent responded to any pms...yet. Lets get the ball rolling for getting more ppl here for the meet portion. |

:facepalm: i can't believe i didn't see this was going on. i already have my 8 tuned by MM, but i probably would've come down for this and would've inquired about putting the 8 on the dyno just to see how much she's putting down... already made plans, though. :(

Question, what order will we be going up on the Dyno? Its about a 4-5 hour drive for me (without traffic) and am trying to plan out when I should leave. I prob will be leaving friday afternoon and staying the weekend, so if the order is the same as posted on the first page thats cool.

I may need a little help adjusting my synapse with the anti-stall fitting. I'm having a helluva time getting it dialed in. I've got a rx7 "backup" bov if we run into problems that I can put on in a pinch but I really want to get my synapse dialed in.
I had hoped to get another run in @ KDR prior to the real deal but it's just not gonna happen. Will do my best to be there as early as possible. |
To everyone with an AccessPORT in their possession - run the updater and make sure you have the most current firmware installed.
You must have the most current firmware or I will have to do it for you at the dyno day and it will cut significantly into your tuning time (it can take up to 20 minutes, depending on the quality of the internet connection). |
I just got my Cobb AP about 3 weeks ago. I updated it before installing the base calibration. Has there been a new update since?

Wait a minute. I thought if anyone gives up their spot, it goes to the next guy on the waiting list. I have been on the wait list since July. I'm definitely going regardless, it's just that I'm living in Philly and my car lives 120 miles west of Philly so I will be going home two hours to get my car then driving right back the opposite way for 3 hours to come to the dyno day. If I'm doing this I would really like to get on the dyno if you know what I mean. Hopefully we can keep things moving throughout the day. Maybe Jeff can give some input as to how fast he thinks he can move the NA guys on and off the dyno. Thanks

I was only informed that Karstman7 took maxx's spot because they arranged it. It was Maxx's slot and he took care of everything while i was out of the country. If someone else drops and offers their spot, they arrange the payment and confirm it with me.

I just looked at Google Maps and says we should get on 422 then 76. If you want we can meet at the Royersford Wawa. Should take about a hour from there. Not sure what time you want to leave to get there.

It will take me a bit to cut through the hours of footage and then organize the video based on who went in what order.
now on to the street port business. JPR is the man. Now that that is out of the way, the car feels like i should have been. Strong. The Racing Beat Race Tune is good...but it doesn't take advantage of my BHR ignition...and is lean. MM said that he can definately squeeze some more power out of it but adjusting the dwell and AFRs. I will be running her at atco tomorrow to see what I've gained. Also, next year I plan on competing with Redline time attack again if they come by the east coast again. |
What were you able to pull when you put it on at the end of the day francesco?
Sucks you had to go through that shit. What do you have to do in order to get your AP working with your ECU? Results from the dyno meet. Hockey hit a 196whp on his last pull. All with a RB mid pipe, K&N Flat, Borla exhaust. Stock Ignition. Shelldude, got about 180whp with his Turbo AT, but he cant not go over 2 psi of boost. Fuel pump could not cut it.. I hit about 171whp first pull, Jeff was able to work it out and my last pull was 184whp. I am also having misfires in the higher rpms with the stock ignition. I need to get the bhr kit. I have stock catback, AP midpipe, K&N flat filter. gdawg got 192whp, with bhr ignition, rp super cat, RB rev8, k&n flat filter. He can possibly free up 5-7 whp with a midpipe. I left after garretts car was finished. So I am not too sure what happened after that. But mark what was your final pull and how did it go? You were on the dyno when I left. |
