Mass dealer and brake TSB

Since it's gotten really cold out my brakes have been squeaking like crazy. I am planning on going in for the brake TSB and an oil change in the next month. I've heard good things about 128 Mazda's service and would like to go there one Saturday to have both things taken care of (I'm in Cambridge).

Does anyone have experience with them (or another Boston-area dealer) for this TSB? Also, is this something that they'll do same-day or will they need to keep it overnight?

thanks in advance

I had mine done at 128 Mazda. They're aware of the TSB. I dropped my car off before I go to work and picked up a rental car from them. They can have it done in half a day's time. Saturdays can get quite busy and they might ask you to come again, so I'd recommend that you call up in advance. You'd most likely deal with George or John. Talk to George if you can. He's more helpful of the two. John is more of a smart *** (he said that those brake TSBs are rubbish and doesn't apply to everybody) but not totally ignorant and he will attempt to make things right so that he gets a good survey.

Oil change is a hit and miss. The first time I had mine done, I think they didn't do the oil change at all. When I took it back and watched them do it again, the mechanic was filling in 10W30 and has no idea how much oil he's supposed to put in.

I'm sorry that I don't have a good recommendation. Hopefully, other fellow owners from Mass. have a better one.

don't goto 128 mazda, they are a joke and if anything goes wrong , they'll blame you .

goto mazda gallery instead , they even replaced my transmission once , no questions asked ... , so breaks would be nothing to them ...
