Some of us from the RX-7Club set up a meet this Friday, August 22, at the Black Stone Valley Plaza in Millbury, Massachusetts.

I apologize for it being really last minute, but i figured we'd give you guys a heads up and the more the merrier.

Here are the details:
Date: August 22
Time: 6:00pm - Whenever
Location: Black Stone Valley PlazaWe are planning on meeting in the parking lot behind the movie theater, on the side of Cold Stone Creamery, The Gap, Red Robin, Etc. We can meet in the back parking spots closest to the road.

We are just planning on hanging out, getting some pictures, and probably going to dinner.

I hope some of you can make it, and i apologize for the last minute heads up.

I will probably head up there after I get off work in Woonsocket. Haven't met up with anyone else from here other than a chance at Fairhaven Mazda getting service done.

its looking like you might be the only 8.....

but the good news is you wont be the only rotary. you'll find someone to talk to. there are going to be more cars then just RX-7s showing up too. there will be some WRXs and STis as well.

hey guys. thanks for coming out. sorry the night kind of went from fun to not fun in the time it took to get from blackstone to worcester. we'll have to do it again sometime with a nice scenic cruise.

 

That doesn't sound good. What made it not fun? Sorry I missed it, I work Friday and Saturday nights.

we left blackstone looking for other nice cars, so we checked white city and then main street. both quite unrewarding.

anyone going to the Natick Super Meet this wednesday? if anyone from the worcester area wants to cruise up, let me know.

 

I will be stuck with my boss until way too late.

The ride home from the meet last night was...interesting.

First the 4 exits in a row on 290 west that were closed off for repaving that took me a bit to reroute by and figure out 146s

Then there was the SRT4 that I came upon doing 85-90 down 295 with his brakes on (lights lit and his rotors were glowing slightly)

And then the 2 monkeys riding choppers. I swear their handle bars were higher than their heads.

And then the SUV doing 30mph in the center lane of 295...


Still fun to meet up with fellow drivers. Ill keep an eye out for more i can get to.
