Just completed the recalls etc...
I had all the recalls done yesterday at Smithtown Mazda. I opted not to take the rental (they were done in 2 hours) I also opted not to take the free gas and the car wash.
They took care of the following: Tested car for any issues with engine. I have 0 driveability issues so I knew the motor was fine. Fuel tank recall or tsb Latest ecu flash Installed the new starter (what a freakin difference) Installed the new battery (higher cca I believe) Turned all rotors and new brake pads (was hearing some noise) Nothing major since the car just crossed 10K miles. I made an appt for 8am and all this was done by 10am. The service at Smithtown Mazda was great. By 11am the rx8 was back in the garage and covered down. Anthony |

Funny... it took 3 days for them to do the same exact work on my car???? They didn't do a car wash or the gas fillup even though it's specified on the TSB.
