Hampton Roads Snow Tires

Does anyone in HR bother with snow tires? I guess it's about time to start thinking about putting them on.

I'm not going to bother. But... I don't plan on driving it too much. I definately won't if there is any possibility they'll be dumping sand/salt on the roads.

Too few snow days to bother with real snow tires. I just steal the wife's minivan if it snows since nobody else is going to work or school.

lol, yeah I love that about this area. What was it last year, 1/8 inch of snow and everything closed? Back in IL we wouldn't even think of turning on the tv to check closings unless our boots disappeared in the snow.

Gunner - now, i used to live in Buffalo, NY. just beware that even though some of us are used to driving in this kind of condition, most of this town can't!

I have snow tires, I hate them. I have Blizzack WS-50s on 17" rims. The car is so sloppy now and looks like crap with the 17s. However living in Albany, I either get snow tires or don't drive, and I need to drive.
