MazdaManiac, what kinda discount? It would be hard for me to come to the meets often but I might join if I can get a nice discount on a mazdaspeed bodykit. I live in Richmond so much further south.

 

Its kind of a give and take thing.
I think the stated amount is 15%, but I have gotten even more than that at times.
Allen and Jay at Gaithersburg Mazda usually give me the "jobber" price - the price paid by independant automobile shops - which is around 25% - 30% below retail.
Of course, retail is unusually high to begin with, so that might not be saying much.

I'm not sure, however, that you will beat Tommy's price (at Rosenthal in Tyson's) on the MazdaSpeed body kit stuff.

Just call around get your prices and don't be afraid to ask for the "best price".

 

Hmmm interesting. It looks like Rosenthal in Tyson's is on the list of vendors that provide a discount. According to the website, the full kit is about $2800. Are you saying they won't discount on top of that price? I'm finding a price that high hard to swallow for a bodykit.

 

$2800 is a great price, if it is complete.
Remember, it comes fully painted and is completely bolt-on. There will be no adjustments for fit.

The nose is $1200 alone. The side skirts are another $650 and the rear bumper is another $600. Add the $800 wing and I'd say you are getting a good price.

 

Sorry that's without the wing. I'm happy with the stock wing so I wasn't planning on buying the MS one. Could someone that's a member inquire about the discount from them if I become a member? I'd like to join anyway but a discount on this kit would def put me over the edge.
