We would need a lot of light -- some good tools -- and a sh!t ton of lube!
I don't like working in the dark though -- I think it would just be better to have a shop do it as they can do it faster than we can

NoOdLe BoY 08-31-2009 01:13 AM

 he said lube

exhaust swaps arent hard.

and light is overrated.

and saving money is always good.

but i guess its your car so its up to you.

rodjonathan 08-31-2009 08:47 PM

you should do it yourself the exhaust is really easy and the midpipe not too hard so you should be fine doing it and it will save you money!

gh8st 08-31-2009 08:50 PM

asap!!!!! did you install your pulley?

gh8st 08-31-2009 08:59 PM

yeah i got the pulley's in last night. It was easier than i thought.

you guys schedule it, and i'll try to be there to help as much as i could.. but it's really a 2 man job.

Juansito 08-31-2009 09:02 PM

The thing is i don't wanna make this an all day thing, I rather just go to a shop and we split the cost of the job since we both getting the same-thing done (out with the old in with the new).

I want in an out! Money isn't an issue if thats what you guys are getting at -- i rather spend $100 bucks than spend the whole day under my car trying to get the rubber loose on the exhaust.

If you guys wanna do an install meet thats fine by me -- but this weekend is memorial day and i might be gone so I'm trying to get my exhaust installed on Friday.....

TOMCATS8 08-31-2009 09:11 PM

aight coolz, did you find a shop yet? cuz im still asking around

gh8st 08-31-2009 09:19 PM

if money isn't an issue.. i guess any shop can do them for under 100. there's a shop by my house that i go to and they put my midpipe in for 80 (1 hour labor)

nycgps 09-01-2009 09:11 AM

I forgot was it a 14mm socket or 17 ? ... anyway its pretty easy to swap the pipe. assume that its not all rusted and stuff :o

Hmm, if it wasnt so dark ... :o
