OK, which one of you caricatures in the tinted out windows RX-8 was trying to out run that 911 Targa yesterday afternoon? I saw the whole thing!

Nice try, you're from Jersey, this car had CT. plates. Quite a few RX-8's in the Simsbury/Granby area.

 

Lots of cops on Day Hill Rd. But last I saw he was still a free man.

 

That must be the same one Hiktori saw the other day screaming down the 189...ti-grey with tinted windows. Some dumb kid driving it.

 

I think he lives in Tariffville. He pulled out of the apartments on 315 a few weeks back right in front of me. Had to slam on my brakes not to ram into his rear. Then drove like an *** up 189.

 

i think people are confusing the 9-1-1 with the police and the porsche 9-11. lol.

rx8 vs porsche 911. well, its just not a fair fight. lol.

No, I would call it a tie. The 8 was in front of the 911 at the light and when it turned green the 8 sped off with the Porsche right on it's tail until the Porsche let off after 4th gear. Like I said, Day Hill Rd. is a cop magnet. The guy in the Mazda didn't seem to care though. The whole thing lasted maybe 15 sec.
Hope the Mods don't get bent. No street racing remember. It was just funny watching the 8 continue down Day Hill screaming. I've seen this same Mazda on 315 and Day Hill a few times, always going very fast. Wondered if it was any of you.

 

my last car was a striped out 1986 targa... it was faster in a straight line then my rx8. had about 200hp to the wheels and weighed 2500 lbs.

 

Doesn't take much to outrun an RX-8. My friends old *** M3 (87' E30) walked me on the highway.
