CTRA Mini Meet in Stamford Friday August 3rd @ 9:00PM
 

Hey guys,

CTRA and NYRA will be holding a mini meet this friday August 3rd @ 9:00PM in the Burger King Parking lot. Its located about 3-5 blocks south of exit 35 off the Merrit Parkway in "Central" Stamford. I say central since its in between the Merrit and I-95 lol but way closer to the Merrit. Exit 35 is HIGH RIDGE ROAD

I will be in Stamford this entire weekend with my girlfreind just north of the Merrit (close to NY), if anyone wnats to get together at night for some rotary cruzn =)

I will be there with a few NY Rotarys (atleast 1 RX-8 aka Cookie Monster aka NoodleBoy).

Hope i can see my NJRA guys theres (Chrism and KelRX8)

So me (NYRA) and John64 (CTRA) will be there, so come and chill with us

Once CTRA starts growing BIGGEr with the hlep of all the CT RX-8 owners based on how many ppl want to have a meet and the concentration will dictate the location of the CT meets , so join up ppl

you'd think there'd be more people joinin somethin that is free. especially on a site dedicated to our 8's and its engine, which is the main purpose of the NYRA. damn 8 owners lol.

I see a number of 8's in Stamford... I flash my lights and they just look at me... like I have the word asshole across my windshield... maybe they don't even know there's a rotary inside...

hope to see some pics out of this. i was hoping to make it but no such luck. and i miss out on the sticker. maybe next go around if we have one in new haven. long wharf is always a good place to meet.

im not that familiar but if everyone joins our local Tristate (NY, NJ and CT) forum we can do somthing that will get the most people to come out. so dont delay go join!

Well, It was a great time. It was great to meet all of you. Now next time lets try and see if we can get more people to come and stop in. May I suggest that we try a meet in Ansonia? Right off exit 16 at the Advance Auto parts lot. I am sure we could grab some people from the north part of the state. Also would a 7PM time work out better for everyone?

7pm would work better for me for meets. plus it's nicer to have light so you can actually see the cars. how many showed up?

It was nice meeting you too bad bob. We had 1 RX8, 2 FC's and 1 FB.

is 9pm late for you people?

If we get more people interested we will find out where everyone lives then place the meet accordingly.

I have to say that the location has alot of potential. It has great lighting and parking away from the store. Its right off of a major road, so very easy access for those who would like to come. Best thing of all was that the pop-po did not bother us when he went to stuff his face. Too bad it rained, but it was one hell of a light show. Jay, thaks for sharing the brew!
