Hey guys, just want to introduce myself. I'm Andrew, and I'll be moving up to New Haven in a few weeks, doing academic work there for the following year. I'm from Long Island and am involved with the local and NYC meets, definitely like getting together with other rotary heads, at least when the weather is nice and there's nice places to chill.

I love working on the cars and have worked on pretty much every system in the 8, so I like talking tech too. Also, I do track days when I can, and I'm hoping to spend more time at Lime Rock now that I'll be fairly close, hopefully there's a group of local guys who want to do that stuff too?

Anyway, if there are regular meets in the area, cruises or anything like that, definitely let me know. Have fun out there....

Nice vid man, I've actually seen it a while back when I first bought my 8 and went crazy on you tube watching RX8 videos lol. I'm looking forward to a meet/cruise, hopefully something happens this summer. Weekends are always better for me :)

Elysium are you going to be at Lime Rock next weekend?

I'm thinking about it. I went to the rolex race there a few years ago, it was a good time. But i'm super busy right now (medical school) and I probably won't be able to. If I can persuade some friends here to make the trip up with me then I might. I'll let you all know though.

Are a lot of people signed up yet? for the corall and whatnot?

I am tentatively planning on doing a track day up there in August with EMRA, so I'll keep you posted on that...

There's at least 20 from NEPOC going and a good number from this site so I'd say somewhere around 30 total.

We use to do meets every eek but only the same four people would come. We even moved it to different spots of the state and people just don't show. Its great that there are a few new people interested but untill the rain stops I dont c any other meets happening

I unfortunately can't go to the AutoX tomorrow but I wish you guys the best of luck and have fun! There is a fund raiser this Monday June 6th at Charcoal Chef in Woodbury for the high school robotics team that I mentor and I figured I'd let people here know if they are interested in coming and just hanging out. I will be there and I think some of my friends from Mazdas247 will be there so if you can make it, it would be cool. Its usually just a few people that show up and we all know each other and would like more people to come so please come and hang out.

Sooooo I moved to new haven a while ago and thought there might be a little more activity in the CT community....doesnt seem like it, at least on the forums ;-(

I can definitely be there.

I'll be back in the US on the 20th so within a week after that I'll set something up. We usually set some meets up from the guys and girls from Mazdas247. We get a few Speed3s, Speed6s and Speed Proteges and we either go to Buffalo Wild Wings or something like that, have a couple drinks, and hang out.
