CT Meet
 

Well seeing as how it is never going to really snow any one in for a meet and car cruise in feb. starting at uconn I sure I can get some more cars from other clubs I am in to join in.

there is a mini meet in new haven going on saturday at noon

I'm down for a meet. We dont have too many in MA/CT/RI at all. Whats this mini-meet in hartford?

i wish i had seen this sooner. i'd have loved to have gotten together for the new haven mini-meet but of course this weekend i have plans. any other new haven meets and i'm down. even hartford would probably be of interest if any others materialize.

well we should be at long wharf exit off 95 at noonish.....i believe its 46....not sure we will be there long though

it is exit 46. i may have to drop by for a minute if you guys don't mind a stocker joining the ranks.

Just uploaded the pictures to my PC gotta work on a few of them since my sun decided to play nasty tricks on a few of the shots.

Was a much better ride back up if not quicker (got to my town around 3:40'sh).

Durring the summer if there is a real legit meet I'd definatly be game!
Maybe Chrism can race all the ricers!!

my daughter actually got upset when we finally got home and she woke up. she said she wanted to see the other rx8s. i guess she knew about the (in)famous chrism and clavius as well but rule number one of kids is you do not wake them up when they're sleeping. just means we'll have to get a decent sized meet this summer to let her see all the nice 8s around. good to see that you guys got back safely.

^haha thats awsome.. but i hear ya on waking kids up while they are sleeping its like waking a rabid animal with a blood lust it aint pretty lol.

Well my car is stock so aint nothing to look at save for the Eyelids (till I put those new shoes on hehe).

just added up my miles per gallon
Up to NH and back for Benny's sways I got a killa 17.23 mpg

From my place down to CT I got 16.3 mpg

Both tanks were pretty much all highway mileage to.

Hmm so when I sell the car (not for a long ass time) I can list 9 City/ 16 Highway! :rock:

why didnt you come out to the one we were at?

Yes, but Feb is going to be really busy for me. A Sunday drive should work, but the Saturdays in Feb are already taken.

due to my job I do not get out to that side of the state much.
