Hi Forum, I'm trying to find a compression tester near the Rochester NY area. None of the dealers in the locality have a rotary compression tester, save for Bob Johnson who says he doesn't have a tech that can perform the test.
Is there anybody near the area lurking in the forum who can help provide a test or know where to get one for a Series I rx8? If you have a tester yourself and are in the area and willing to assist, I can compensate you a bit for your time.
For those wondering, the engine should be okay at its sub 50K mileage, but I need to assess that a slightly perceptible power drop is due to the ignition coils we all love, or something similar that needs a tune up, and not the seals.
