Compression test
Does anyone in south jersey or philly area have a rotary compression tester that I can rent/borrow or if you can run a test for me? I want to get it done before I do any big mods and dont want to pay mazdas ridiculous price. Thanks in advance

How much does the dealership charge? Any shop would probably just charge you an hour or less worth of labor.

Yeah...usually like 90 bucks.
On a related note, TwistedRotors posted that he's still alive and working on a second-gen model of his compression tester, and it should be widely available at some (not yet known) point. Should be a big seller.... |

I called a few dealers about it. All charged around $95 - $105. Refundable if it fails under warranty.
