Sunday's almost here, hoping I'll get in more photos again this year

 

I plan on attending again as well. My car still hasn't been caught on camera there yet, but I'm hoping that it will catch someone's eye this time. Since the last C&C I've gotten new wheels, eyelids for my lights & a vanity plate. I'm also hoping that my husband can get my exhaust onto my car by then too. Saturday I'll probably be busy pampering my car all day to get her nice and shiny for the event.

 

Would you like to meet up with some other 8s? I believe keck04 and I will be rolling in together. Ill talk to him and we could probably set up a meeting place. I like to get there half an hour early in hopes to get a good spot

That would be nice. If you want a nice spot in the big lot you will have to arrive more than a half and hour early I'm afraid. I'm there usually an hour or more early so I can get into the lot where they stage the exotics. I'm hoping to be there somewhere around 7:30-8am. The one time I was so early that they still had the lot roped off & I had to wait until they started letting people in the lot.

I have a friend with a yellow 8 that plans on showing up. He also has some rotary friends that he says may come also. It would be nice if we could get a bunch of rx8's & rx7's all grouped together if we can wing it.

Just as a fyi, shortly after we arrive the hubby & I usually walk to Perkins for some breakfast and wait for the lot to fill up a bit. Plus I can't stay past 11am, I have a puppy class that my puppy has to attend.

Like I said in my earlier post, I didn't get to stay long.
I missed out on searching for more 8's and I only saw a blue one in the main lot, but it wasn't any of the ones you took pictures of.
The yellow one in the red & yellow picture belongs to my friend. He needs some serious loving to that car, it's in sad shape compared to mine.

This is the blue one I saw and I noticed it was just an automatic.

I agree with the yellow 8 needing alot of TLC (not trying to sound like a dick)

 

I aimlessly drove around looking for other 8s for a good 30 minutes or so. When I finally found some, event staff directed me in the opposite direction

As of right now, def a no for me. The exhaust shop that was going to weld the other 02 bung apparently did not realize that they would have to have the bung to weld it. Plus its a rare "stainless steel" one so it will take time to come in.

 

isnt the weather supposed to suck?

 

I have a healthy cat if you want to make it out or you can bring my rally beater
