Anyone going to Carlisle Performance & Style this Saturday?

I won't be attending this year unfortunately. But here is a thread for all that are.

no, I will be at the Import and Kit show on the 18th. Carlisle Import and Kit Nationals - British, French, German, Swedish, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Collector, Performance, Parts, Accessories

cars from all around the world. biggest show of its type east of the Mississippi. autocross, bands, vendors, Grassroots, Hemmings, lots of car clubs. always a good time. an older crowd than this weekends show(no bikini contests:rofl:)

I decided against Carlisle P&S, its been downhill for years, stanced VW's and riced out civics, not to mention its not exactly a family friendly event. I'll be at the Import and Kit show tho, still debating wether I'm gonna show or just spectate since my 8 is still stock

Rube- don't worry, stocks fine. lots of stock cars of all makes on the showfield.

ALERT- anyone using I-81 south through Harrisburg to go to Carlisle this weekend, be prepared for detours and gridlock after a tanker caught on fire and melted two overpasses thursday. I-81 will be closed around Harrisburg untill some time next week. Best bet will be the PA turnpike west to the Carlisle exit.

Habs - ok then, when were ya'll rollin in? I can't come til early saturday since I'll be working til prolly 1030 friday night
