Body shop recommendation needed! ... or swap a VR trunk with spoiler for one without

Hey, anybody know a good body shop in the Philadelphia area that could paint a spoiler for me? I heard of a good one in Maryland, but the expense and risk of damage during shipping both directions made it not workable, so I'm looking to stay local, Philly/South Jersey-ish. Thanks for any tips! Or if anybody wants to trade a VR trunk with spoiler for a VR trunk without, I'm open to that too.

I'm assuming Mazda OEM spoiler that's unpainted?

If you want send a message to DoubleGoose his names Lawerence. He's a good kid. Selling VR spoiler for $150. Figured it'll match better than a shop. And resell the unpainted OEM.

his thread https://www.rx8club.com/ne-sale-wanted-140/stuff-sale-nj-figured-id-post-here-too-174721/

see if he still has it

Yes, OEM and no, not unpainted, it's WWP... and it's a hand-me-down, so if I don't paint it I wouldn't resell it, I'd give it back to the original owner (thanks, Oscar!) for him to sell, same if I end up finding a swap. But thanks for the thought.

I'm sure if you keep looking you'll find somebody to do an even trade. I know alot of people like the spoiler look and alot don't.

Nucar Mazda in New Castle Delaware took great care of me when I got in to a fender bender. They have a bodyshop on site.

Beth, if you want to bring it with you to the Sushi meet I will take it to PJs for you, my bumper is there now and I will be meeting him first thin next week... then when its all finished we can meet half way and you can get some of the local guys to help you with the install. You also may want to contact Oscar, see where he got his car fixed(after the accident) and take it there...

Thanks a lot, I will keep them in mind too if all else fails.

And, Greg, that's a really generous offer, that sounds like a perfect solution. And believe me, I've asked Oscar a bunch of times for the phone number but he's gone stealth mode on me and never answered me! :spank: lol And it's killing me to have this spoiler sitting here naked and dying to be painted red and put on the back of my car, not to mention Jose's living room looks like a car parts store with the spoiler in there plus my old cloth interior (which btw is going up for sale soon if anyone's interested.)

But ok, thanks again, if you're sure it's no trouble! Gotta love the forum members :)
