August Philly AutoX

Anyone in the Philadelphia area? I can't make any of the AutoX's in July, but there are 2 events at the Boeing facility in August. I'll be at both.

Here's the full year schedule:

http://phillyscca.org/cgi-bin/schedule/full_year.cgi

The Solo events are listed as "Summer Series Event", the two I'm currently asking about are #10 and #11, Aug 14 and 28, respectively. The "Registration" link takes you to where you can see all the info and preregister, if you want to. $25 SCCA members, $35 non-members. The Philly events are pretty well organized and very accomodating to first timers, etc. Loaner helmets and informal instruction available.

In case you're new to autocross... the 8 runs in "B Stock". THen they put cars based on class into various heats. For the Aug 14, B runs in Heat 4, which means show up a little before 11. Check in, drivers meet, walk the course, work 3rd heat, run 4th.

The Aug 28th, show up at 7, check in, work 1st heat, run 2nd heat.

Unless you got lots of mods then you have to find out what class you're in. Stock allows exhaust and dual adjustable stocks and diff wheels and tires, as long as they fit within specs. Lowered springs would put you into one of the prepared classes
