Anyone in the Frederick area willing to take me for a test drive in their car?

I'm specifically looking for an FI car. I want to see what the car feels like with a big power adder like a Turbo or SC. I am considering, only slightly, giving up the S4 for a lighter car....its a weird thing and I can't explain it, but I'm a weird guy. If theres any willing takers E-mail me at:

Thanks for the space and consideration look forward to hearing from you.

I work in Columbia/Ft Meade during the week and can do that area as well. I see people are viewing and not posting. Feel free to post here as well. I didn't think I'd be able to monitor the forum much but turns out I have more free time than I expected.

Jerm,

RoXy is not FI, but I or Tim would be happy to take you out for a test. We are across the river in Leesburg.

Take care,
Lynn

No you can't drive my FI car.
Sorry.

I appreciate your sarcasm but I didn't ask to drive, I asked to ride with you as you drove. I would never ask to drive a strangers car. A dealers fine but not a person I do not know. So troll away little outboard. Oh and nice Z06.

On a happier note I drove a modified (It had at least an exhaust, and wheels) RX yesterday at a dealer by my house and I have to say it was a fun experience. THe powerband was totally different than my S. Just seemed to pull forever, although I had the constant feel that the engine was holding back. My car felt the same way before I chipped it. The steering was much crisper on the 8 and it def. felt like it weighed 500+ pounds less than my car. All that said I couldn't own one NA, I've just gotten used to torque on demand. I guess thats why I wanted to see what an FI'd one would feel like.

Oooops I see my mistake. I wanted to ride in a FI'd RX-8. I just said an FI car....duh. That would be confusing! I already have a car with 2 turbos, my last car had one so I know what a FI car feels like just not an RX-8. Haha, my bad.
