Earlier engines have more of a chance to crap out on you. luckily its covered under warranty until the 100k mile mark. bought mine at 60k miles. new engine at about 80k miles. im at about 91k miles now and everything is good. just make sure you redline it about once a week or so to help burn the carbon out and invest in some zoom zoom engine cleaner or seafoam to clean out the carbon. other then that nothing different. If you are worried about it you can bring it to have a compression test done just to make sure its not losing power. but you will notice the difference when it does start.Originally Posted by bachi

first mistake i made when owning the car. Let it warm up in the AM or if it is cold out side unless you will move your car and it will not want to start back up

Hello!
I just got my 8 last Saturday, 05' silver with the GT package, over in Saratoga Springs. I am new the Buffalo area and am living in Cheektowaga right now; hopefully there is still time to get something together because I would love to meet up - I haven't done much else besides go to work :/
