Just bought my 2004 Brillant Black RX8... I'm in VA beach... car was pretty thrashed when I bought it.. Dealer ended up having to replace the motor... Previous owner put 20" TSW Thruxtons on it.. looks pretty mean but not really my cup of tea.. Trying to find stock rims.. Found 2 need the other two so if anybody knows anyone getting rid of their stocks hit me up on here. They also put two towing hooks in the front.. from what it looks like its welded on to the bumper beam.. I hope not.. but will have to take the bumper off to find out... so all in all I bought it because the motor was rebuilt by Mazda and I slapped and extended warranty on it... its a project.. I've previously owned a 95GST, 97GSX, 350z, 99 Si, MKV GTI and I have to say even in its current condition the 8 has to be one of the funniest cars I have ever driven...

Glad I found this, I'm VP of NOVAMAZDA CLUB and we hold a weekly meet EVERY Monday night @ the Hardtimes Cafe in Springfield, VA (6362 Springfield Plaza Springfield, VA 22150). Like our FB closed group and I'll add you, any given night there are 50-100 cars of various makes including us, If you live close come check us out..

Now if someone could organize a meet in the Hampton roads area that would be amazing. I have only had my RX-8 a month but I am looking to get out there with others.

Bristol VA here.. born in socal, raised in va beach, living now in Bristol.. would love to find an active car club anywhere between knoxville TN and Roanoke VA and as far down as Ashville NC.

Freedom Carwash Meet
If any 8 drivers not busy tonight or tmrw night there are car meets in VA beach around 9pm on south Independence blvd freedom Car wash. Usually starts there and then moved to a parking lot near by. Will love to see more 8s there.

I've run with NASA in my RX8 for the last 5 years now and I've only ever had another RX8 show up ONCE. Even for track weekends, the RX8s are thin... come on guys!
