failsafe: spark plug issue
marcmiller: borla catback install
lepichichi: preload springs
baez: puddle lights.

Did I miss anything? lol

stinksause 05-18-2010 05:03 PM

Its ~1mo old, $275 w/ all hardware and a personal install.

stinksause 05-18-2010 06:00 PM

u got it boss ... this is prolly one of the quickest sales in the history of this forum

Lets not forget the personal install, lol.

The install list as of now:

So lets see if I got this right:
L337fpc: GTSPEC bracing and reinstalling ExoticSpeed race pipe
failsafe: spark plug issue
marcmiller: borla catback
lepichichi: preload springs
baez: puddle lights
stinksause: racing beat dual resonated mid pipe

lepichichi 05-18-2010 08:04 PM

put me down for preloading springs and oil catch can :) btw my old catch can is gonna be for sale $20 including install.

btw I'm bringing the tank, the air gun, sockets etc etc let me know if you guys are looking for any special tool I might have it and if so I can bring it over

L337fpc 05-18-2010 08:12 PM

lepichichi: preload springs and catch can install

stinksause: racing beat dual resonated mid pipe

i just got 17mm and 19mm impact sockets 1/2in drive. If you have another set of metric sockets 10-17mm and a 3/8in drive wrench...that should allow the other bay to be in use.

Thursday is gonna be 80F and sunny.

I know i need a bay since the bolts are PIA.
MarcMiller's cat back can be done on the street (easy 45min max install).
Lepichichi's springs need a bay.
failsafe's plugs can be done on the street (driver's side jacked)
baez's puddle lights can be done on the street or in the drive way
stinksause's mid pipe needs a bay.

Chrishoky 05-18-2010 09:35 PM

As of right now I'm about 99% sure I will be attending. I will be there around 6 PM. Set me up with one of the easier installs.. something like an exhaust.. and definitely with someone who knows what they are doing.. right now Im pretty much just an extra set of hands.. btw do you want us to bring any kind of food? Or is sonic the plan for after all the installs? Let me know and Ill pick up some snack or drinks or something.. btw I just got a CEL come on within the last two days, if you have any sort of computer that can tell me what it means put me down for a check up on that one! If not Ill have to call the dealer and see what they can do for me. Does anyone know if that is covered under the factory engine warranty?

L337fpc 05-18-2010 09:42 PM

Good call, if any1 wants to bring extra food or drinks i'd appreciate it. I'll have burgers ready.

I'd be awesome to cruse to sonic after all out parts are installed...but its gonna be close.

I foresee my bracing, oscar's springs, and carlos's puddle lights to take the most time.

Pico 05-18-2010 11:42 PM

Shit..

Not going to make it. I got the dates confused, I have Karate on Thursday's

nvrfalter 05-19-2010 12:39 AM

What catch can do you have? The Greddy? I may be interested.

Also, if anyone has a 12+" 1/2" drive ratchet extension and one of the rotating adapters, please bring that so it doesn't take forever to tighten my plugs. =)

Weapon R thats made for the rx8. Oscar's got dibs on it, then marc miller, then you lol. I just ordered a generic on from Weapon R. I can't use my current one since I'll be removing my air pump because its dying on me.

No, I meant the one oscar has for sale assuming he buys yours. lol

That weapon R one does look pretty under your hood though.

Of course you can bring pizza and beer. Now we have plenty of roads to test on. 3mi straight road outside of my development and about 2 miles away there are some tight turns that can test your springs and my bracing.

I'll make points a,b,c...

lepichichi 05-19-2010 10:13 AM

^^ it sounds like a plan

There is an advance auto about 10 miles away that can read the code.

No lift. 2 regular jacks, 1 low profile jack and 8 jack stands.

I'll bring 2 more jack stands, torque wrench, the actron and some miscellaneous tools I can gather. (I may have a hydrolic jack )

Why drive 10 miles when we can read it right there and then?

I'm all set for tomorrow..No work and schools over at 1:40.

My cars in need of an oil change and im trying to knock it out before i graduate.

Its easy...but your gonna be driving around with your old oil in your trunk. and you don't want that to get everywhere.

MarcMiller 05-20-2010 01:22 PM

Just found out this is a good 30-45 min drive so if anyone wants to drive up let me know...knowing my GPS itll get me lost.

i was serious about the oil change haha... i wasnt sure if its worth paying to get it done or just do it myself...my cars due for one badly.

stinksause 05-20-2010 01:48 PM

^ I am coming from newtown .... To change the oil properly ( ie drain your coolers) you should change it yourself, I doubt jiffy lube messes around with lifting the car side to side ... either way there will be a couple of cars on stands getting worked on and we will be happy to point out what needs to be done. It's quite simple

MarcMiller 05-21-2010 12:09 AM

thanks again for the help guys today was a good day!
Exhaust is a little crooked so im gonna have to mess with the hangers a little to get it even on both sides.
Sounds reallly good tho!

L337fpc 05-21-2010 05:11 AM

np man!

hope everyone enjoyed the install day. I know i still have rust in my eyes...
