RX8 with less than or around 55k miles
 

Hey everyone!

Time is finally right for me to get back into an RX-8 and I'd really like to pick one up from a fellow 8 club member because I know chances are much higher that is has been well cared for.

I'd like to stick within 3-4 states of Nebraska but really I will consider anything posted here or PM'ed to me. If you have something really great but are out of my area please do not hesitate to shoot it my way, I will heavily consider all offers that fit or come close to fitting my parameters.

What I'm looking for:
- Less than or around 55k
- Less than or equal to $11,000 (Really would like to stay fairly under this
- Any trim really, just need DSC and TCS (Not worried about leather/sunroof/all that jazz, just need stability and traction control)
- Clean
- Well maintained and runs strong or would need minimal work to get running strong (ie plugs/coils)
- Any color but Lightning Yellow (Sorry its nothing personal against LY owners :bowdown:, just a little too bright for me!)
- Would prefer 2005 or newer, but will consider any good 2004

So thats it! Pretty open parameters. Have at it with the offers I will really look at and consider anything that fits into those!

I have a 2004 gt package 6mt nordic green rx8. Bronze factory wheels, 55,6** miles. in the process of getting a stock rear bumper. Custom exhaust (cat back so not loud but sounds great) k&n drop in intake, everything else is stock. Rear seats are non-matching cloth however. Little dings here and there but no major dents. Awesome car. have a spare 6mt ill throw in too. asking 10500 obo. located in green bay wi. pm me if interested

With your mileage requirements I would recommend sticking with a 2005 or newer. Almost all 2004's are either out of the 8yr/100,000 mile engine warranty or will be very soon. 2005 or even 2006 preferably would give you a little more breathing room.

Additionally I would do two things before laying outta hard earned dollars. Once you find a potential car, call MNAO with the VIN and find the original" in service" date. With that you can determine exactly how much of each warranty you have remaining available to you. I'd also insist on a compression test. Worst case split cost with the seller.
